The 3rd Grade Disney Performance: This is the most anticipated event at JR Smith elementary. Sometimes I wonder how much learning can take place when there is so much practicing going on, but I do think it's good for them. This year Ava was a Flamingo, a bird in Tiki Room, and a Signer in Colors of the Wind. The kids put so much of themselves into this that it's always a letdown when it's over. She misses it already. Ava did so great. She looked so beautiful up there singing and dancing her heart out.
