2010 Vancouver

We were really looking forward to this and by the time the opening ceremonies rolled around we were in party mode. Matt picked up fried chicken and all the junk food you could want. It seems a veggie platter would be more appropriate for an OLYMPIC party, but there wasn’t a carrot in sight. As usual I was so impressed with what can be done with modern technology and enjoyed the opener immensely. This is coming from a girl who just learned to crochet. We watched as much as we could in the two weeks following. It was almost a relief when the games were over so we could get back to life.

Our favorites were Apollo Ono, Lindsey Von, and of course Shaun White! Plus all the figure skating that we kept our eyes peeled open for since it was on so late at night. That Russian seemed a sour sport.
